Roman Villareal and Chris Martinez, who run the Flash Platform UG and Flash Meetup Group, have organized a CS5.5 Camp event at St. Edwards University on August 9, 6:00 – 9:00 pm.

The event is free, and so is the food. I think it will probably be very useful in getting a feel for how Adobe is dealing with the shifting landscape, in regards to Flash. Since Flex is directly dependent on Flash, this is likely to be a worthwhile event for Flex developers.

You can get more information and sign up for the event at the Austin Adobe CS5.5 Camp event page.

Here’s a link to recordings of the keynotes and sessions from MAX 2010:
http://tv.adobe.com/channel/max/max-2010/

Specifically, here’s a direct link to the DEVELOPER track presentations:
http://tv.adobe.com/show/max-2010-develop/

And a link on the official MAX site:
http://2010.max.adobe.com/online/

There are some good presentations out there! Take a few minutes (or hours) and absorb as much as you can.

And if there’s a topic out there that you’d like more info about, propose it as a meeting presentation/discussion topic and we can dig into it further.
